Motion Graphic Design:
I studied for a Visual Communication Design degree at Ravensbourne, which included six months spent at Otis Parsons School of Art in Los Angeles. This has led to a long and interesting career as a broadcast graphic designer.
My first job was a designer for Dubai TV, a government funded channel, in the UAE. This was a fascinating experience and offered a position of autonomy to produce graphics for English and Arabic channels, for news, horse racing, power boat racing and other programming.
Since this time, I have acquired over 20 years industry experience producing motion graphics predominantly at Sky News, the award winning 24 hour news channel and at IMG, the leading sports production company. At Sky, as well as producing in-house live to air graphics and long term projects such as a General Election, I worked with commercial clients such as Amazon, QJump and The Business Newspaper to design and/or produce Sky News sponsorship idents. At IMG, I produced motion graphics for predominantly The Premier League, as well as AELTC Wimbledon, the FEI, Channel 4 Racing and others. I have also worked on various outside broadcasts, such at the Cheltenham Festival and at Wimbledon.
I now offer these creative services on a freelance basis; my recent work includes for the Event Rider Masters Series.
